Feet
My family has been taking pictures of feet lately...something about being able to see our feet "all over the world." Aren't feet ugly? Really... We buff, trim, and paint them, and still, they're just feet.
But last night at 11:00 p.m. when I took off my flip flops I had to snap this shot...
Note to self: Never spray paint in flip flops.
Today everyone else joined in...

Joie's feet have summer toe fever.
Jeran jammed his pinkie toe this afternoon...ouch!
Nate has an ingrown toenail...ouch again.
Champ, seemed to catch on and posed for this one.
Blossom has somehow managed to escape the nail polish brush...so far.
Our five feet are missing Tim's feet!
After three weeks in Oklahoma, he'll be home Wednesday!

6th Grade Graduation
Two amazing 6th graders became "sevies" today!
Both Megan and Jeran graduated from elementary school and received several other awards as well...
Megan received awards for Service Club, Safety Patrol, Safe School Ambassadors, Fitness award, and no tardies all year!
Jeran received awards for Safety Patrol, Top Reader, and President's Gold Award for Educational Excellence (signed by Barack Obama).
They were served a brunch following the awards ceremony. I was so glad they sat in alphabetical order! It warmed my heart to see them sitting together and sharing this day together. What can I say? I'm a mom! I also loved how their awards were such an accurate reflection of their personalities and strengths. They're both at a pool party this afternoon celebrating. They've earned it!
