Planning the Perfect Party

Over the past several weeks months we've been talking about Gabby's upcoming birthday.

We talked about locations.  Gabby wanted a "home party".

We talked about food and activities.  Gabby isn't a huge fan of sweets, so she settled on a "Chips and Dip Party."  We were going to serve different kinds of chips, crackers, etc. and play water games (the water was the "dip" part of the party).

Then over the weekend of the 4th, the entire plan changed.  We spent the weekend at Grandpa and Grandma Campbell's farm in Juniper, Idaho and Gabby loved everything about Juniper...cousins, freedom, animals, and just hanging out.  While we were in Juniper, Gabby asked, "Mom, can we have my party on the farm?"

The more we thought about it the more perfect it seemed...

Cousins.  Check.  (Lots and lots of cousins.)

Fun.  Check.

Chips.  We'll buy those.

Water.  Check.

Fireworks and sparklers.  Check

Cousin sleepover.  Check.

So we've moved the party to Juniper and we're counting down the days...
