Photography and Art

Nate is taking both a photography and an art class in school.

His current assignment is food photos.

Makes me wish I was in Florida (with my parents).

Makes me wish for summer...but it's snowing outside.

Again.

Makes me think of how many apples we can go through in a week.

(Tim says forty in three days, because that's how may he bought on Monday, and they were gone by Wednesday.)

And Nate's oil pastel artwork:

Gabby is Nate's number one fan.  She loves his art, and has bought his pieces on several occasions.  They're all in her room.

I loved this one and wanted it for my office.  Nate told me I had to outbid Gabby to get it.  She bid twenty dollars!  

Nate was loving the bidding war, but Gabby with her kind heart could see my hesitation at going higher than twenty dollars.  Instantly she said I could have it, so I paid a mere five dollars for this piece.

It will look great in my office.

(He's graduated from refrigerator art.)
